Summary

On arrival, Room 118 was locked and marked temporarily closed following the prior classroom equipment and environmental incident. Dr. Martin Rusk, Dr. Laura Fenwick, and Facilities staff member Jay Atwell were present.

A limestone teaching sample, previously secured beneath a plastic container on the front demonstration table, was missing. There was no sign of forced entry. The hallway camera was unavailable because of scheduled maintenance. Three metronomes on the table had been arranged in a straight line; their relevance could not be determined.

A small unidentified pebble was located near the previous position of the missing sample. It was transferred to Dr. Rusk for temporary scientific storage with a chain-of-custody note.

Treat the physical sample disappearance as a property matter unless or until further information is established.
